Three Ways Community Association wish to send our thanks and gratitude to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council. Recently, through NMDDC’s financial assistance programme, we applied for funding to run 2 programmes (youth summer scheme and senior citizens programme). We have received confirmation over the recent weeks that we have been successful and awarded finance from our Local Council. A welcoming and positive contribution from the Council to allow us to move our community further ahead. Special thanks to Kerrie Morrow and the programmes unit for their continued advice and guidance. We look forward to bringing these initiatives to the centre.

Great time had by our youth group this evening. A treat night out to the inflata-park at We Are Vertigo in Belfast. Plenty of banter among the group, there’ll be sore legs tomorrow. Glad to see they all enjoyed themselves. It’s nights like these we remember what it’s all about 👌🏻

300 4th Year Students/Young People from local schools and Personal Development Programmes in Newry & Mourne in Newry Town Hall for our ‘Mindopoly – The Game Of Life’ event funded by the Education Authority. Very focussed on Mental Health of Young People, great engagement from our speakers Anita Denninson & Robert Herdman and a fantastic production from Spanner in The Works. Our silent march from Newry Town Hall to Newry Variety Market will commence at 12:15. Very worth-wile morning so far.

Another enjoyable evening for our young people with the theme of Easter throughout. Plenty of Easter cups decorated all topped off with an Easter cake, Easter eggs and ice cream.
