Jurassic Ark Encounters Visit

What a brilliant night on Tuesday 30th November for our youth club members with Jurassic Ark Encounters NI in the community centre.

No fear in any of the young people with the snake etc. A fun and educational workshop for all and their smiles prove it.

Big thanks to Michelle McKeown and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council for providing the workshop. The young people thoroughly enjoyed it!

Jungle NI 2021

Today, our youth project and youth group had an activity day at The Jungle.

Great craic was had throughout the day with laser tag, treetop adventure and llama trekking. So much so that we didn’t get many photos.

Thank you to the EA for funding this eventful day out and to the staff at The Jungle for their hospitality.

Evening of Remembrance

Thank you to the 65+ residents who turned out tonight in the cold weather for the ‘Evening of Remembrance’ for those who’ve sadly passed over the years.

It was lovely to see all the candles glow in the dark with a minutes silence followed by a decade of the rosary. Thanks to Noel Keenan for the delivery.

Following this, it was great to see residents come into the community centre for a cuppa, a bun and a natter with neighbours and friends.

A heart-warming evening
