Newry Through the Years

Delighted that after several years in the planning, on Thursday 10th February, an imaging project was officially launched at North Street’s underpass.

‘Newry Throughout The Years’ was an idea from Three Ways CA and with funding assistance from the Department for Communities, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and NEWRY BID, and input from a span of individuals, the idea has been attained bringing a more welcoming and friendly ambience.

Be sure to drop by the underpass and check out the fantastic display.

A big thank you to the funders, the many individuals who contributed, to Teddy Fearon for his excellent facilitation & countless hours of hard work and to Newry DEA Coordinator Kerrie Morrow for being the driving force behind the project, going above and beyond!

Jumping Clay Workshop

It’s all fun & games at Three Ways Youth Club.

This evening, the junior youth club had a visit from Una at Jumping Clay where the young people all got to mould their own minion.

Big thanks to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council for providing the funding for the workshop with particular thanks to Michelle McKeown for setting it up.

The older youth club started their planting project which we look forward to seeing when finished, followed by a few indoor games.

A wonderful night all round

Three Ways Mens Shed

These men know how to look after themselves. Some members of our Men’s Shed had a masterclass recently on making soda bread.

Francie (Marco Pierre White) Craven and Paddy (Gordon Ramsay) McGrath took the lead in showing the men how to make the perfect soda bread.

Another enjoyable evening! There’s nothing these men can’t do
