On February 8th, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a Celebration & Evaluation evening at the Canal Court Hotel & Spa for the members of the Three Ways Youth Project.

This special event brought together our young people, their families, funders, and local political representatives to showcase the remarkable accomplishments and progress made in their personal and social development through their involvement in our project.

Listening to them passionately express what their time with the project meant to them, witnessing their growth, and understanding why other young people should also engage in similar projects was both heartwarming and poignant. We are aware that they will soon embark on new chapters in their lives, and it is with mixed emotions that we bid them farewell.

We extend our gratitude to Cllr Valerie Harte, Chairperson of the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, for her kind words and personal reflection to supporting our young people. We would also like to express our appreciation to Cllr Geraldine Kearns and Liz Kimmins MLA for their presence and support.

We are grateful to the Education Authority and the Department for Communities for their unwavering support and financial assistance. Our young people eloquently articulated the necessity for funders to provide adequate resources to ensure the continuity of these invaluable programmes.

Congratulations to our young people who have completed the project. We wish them every success and hope they achieve all their aspirations and dreams.
