Jungle NI 2021

Today, our youth project and youth group had an activity day at The Jungle.

Great craic was had throughout the day with laser tag, treetop adventure and llama trekking. So much so that we didn’t get many photos.

Thank you to the EA for funding this eventful day out and to the staff at The Jungle for their hospitality.

Evening of Remembrance

Thank you to the 65+ residents who turned out tonight in the cold weather for the ‘Evening of Remembrance’ for those who’ve sadly passed over the years.

It was lovely to see all the candles glow in the dark with a minutes silence followed by a decade of the rosary. Thanks to Noel Keenan for the delivery.

Following this, it was great to see residents come into the community centre for a cuppa, a bun and a natter with neighbours and friends.

A heart-warming evening

Our young people participated in several good relations workshops along with other young people and clubs from across the area.

A fantastic bunch of young people, continually developing their skills and doing their community proud.

Halloween @ Youth Club

Wow, what a great evening for the youth club. Plenty of fun was had making their Halloween cookies, not too many cookies made it home. 🎃👻

Afterwards a walk up to the Loughran families ‘House of Horrors’ to get into the spirit and see this fantastic display. Holding onto their weekly entrance fee and tuck shop money, the young people donated theirs instead to support the Loughran’s in raising money for Sound Friends & PIPS Hope and Support. Well done to all 🤩

If you haven’t visited this spooktacular initiative, you need to!

Great evening!
