Step Up and Step Out Award

On June 5th 2022, at Newry, Mourne and Down District Councils Thank You Awards, Three Ways Community Association was recognised for our response to the recent pandemic, especially the support to the young people with a ‘Step Up and Stand Out’ award.
We don’t do what we do in Three Ways CA for recognition or awards, nor do we expect it, however, it’s heartwarming to know we are held in high regard for our community delivery.
Sincere thanks to NMDDC for the award.

Men’s Shed Cooking Prog

MasterChef wouldn’t have a look in with Three Ways Men’s Shed.
Their recent workshop was cookery, under the facilitation and guidance of a qualified chef, the men prepared curry and tasty fifteen buns.
Following this, we photographed them delighted with their new T-shirts and their finished pieces of pottery.
Big thanks to Total Media Works for the delivery of the programme for the men!

Wow 🤩 what a great night at the Easter disco and Easter Bunny’s visit.

Approx 100+ young people had a good dance, plenty of laughter, a few sweets, Easter eggs from the Easter bunny and the chance to win La Dolce Vita Vouchers for the best dance moves.

We hope all the children and young people enjoyed the evening. Great to see them all together!

Newry Through the Years

Delighted that after several years in the planning, on Thursday 10th February, an imaging project was officially launched at North Street’s underpass.

‘Newry Throughout The Years’ was an idea from Three Ways CA and with funding assistance from the Department for Communities, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and NEWRY BID, and input from a span of individuals, the idea has been attained bringing a more welcoming and friendly ambience.

Be sure to drop by the underpass and check out the fantastic display.

A big thank you to the funders, the many individuals who contributed, to Teddy Fearon for his excellent facilitation & countless hours of hard work and to Newry DEA Coordinator Kerrie Morrow for being the driving force behind the project, going above and beyond!
