Community Support Available

Unknown to many, and to what we do on a daily basis, our trustees have been working diligently in private supporting members of the community as and when they need us.

Covid-19 has caused significant pressures amongst us all and we will continue to support our community not just now, but when this pandemic has ended.

We recently applied for a small grant to support those who’ve been faced with financial difficulties and have been successful.

We now have a financial assistance budget to help those who need it most with vouchers for food, electricity, gas or mobile top-ups.

Anyone from our catchment area who needs support can make contact with an officer board member and your contact will be held with high confidentiality. Simply email us at info@threewaysca.co.uk or call 07769669291

Please note, this budget is limited and is based entirely on need.

Community Centre Closure

As of Sunday 15th March, Three Ways Community Association have made the hard decision to close Three Ways Community Centre for the foreseeable due to the current crisis.

All activities organised by Three Ways Community Association (Senior Citizens Luncheon Club, Youth Group, Youth Project and Youth Club) have been cancelled and we urge parents to ensure young people do not turn up for any of these activities.

Our user groups have also been informed to cancel their activities until told otherwise by Three Ways Community Association, with the exception of Windmill Playgroup (FOR NOW).  Playgroup will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and updates will follow.

We are sure that all concerned will agree that the safety of our trustees, volunteers, young people and user groups are paramount.

Three Ways Community Association will update with reopening dates as and when deemed acceptable by our association.

We thank you for your understanding.

Choices & Consequences

On Thursday 12th March, Three Ways Youth Project participated in CRJ Safer Stronger Communities Choices & Consequences workshop as part of our intergenerational programme of events.

The young people got to hear of the negative choices the two guest speakers made in their past and the consequences of their actions. With this, young people also had the opportunity to ask questions which we hope they will keep with them over the years.

A very worthwhile exercise that had the full attention of the young people, you could of heard a pin drop.

Three Ways Community Association and all young people involved thank CRJ, Ewan and the two guest speakers for delivering this workshop.
